First Trip to the Beach
The family took a took a trip down to Thirroul Beach so our daughter could see the ocean for the first time. It was a very windy day, but she didn't seem to mind. In fact, she had such a great time in the water that she didn't want to get out, even when she started to get cold. She also had a lot of fun wandering up and down the beach chasing seagulls and exploring with her little yellow bucket and shovel in hand. Walking around on unstable sand was quite challenging for her, as she has only been walking a month and a half, but she held her own, even with the wind trying to knock her down. The best part of the day was holding her as the waves rolled in while she was giggling and splashing in the water. (Thanks to my wife, for taking the photo (third from the bottom) of me and our daughter).

Laura & Chad's Wedding 12-2-2011
I was really excited when I was asked by Laura & Chad to be the photographer for their wedding day. It started raining right before their ceremony was about to start (which was outdoors at a beautiful little park in Balmain), and continued on for most of the evening. While many couples may have had the wet weather ruin their day, Chad and Laura took it in stride and had a beautiful ceremony under umbrellas, beneath a white eucalyptus tree. Devoted family and friends stuck it out in the rain to see the lovely couple get married.
The reception took on another feel to it as it was indoors :) and everyone had an amazing time. Some of the highlights included amazing speeches by the Father of the Bride, the Mother of the Groom, the Maid of Honour, the two Best Men, and the Bride and Groom, which were some of the funniest I had ever heard, including Laura's which brought down the house. And before leaving their own party, Chad and Laura rocked out on the dance floor to ACDC, which included an awesome air guitar solo by Chad. (Well done sir!) All in all I think the couple had a pretty good time.
Congratulations Chad and Laura!

Laura & Chad's Engagement
Laura and Chad are a wonderful couple with a fantastic sense of humour. If you met them you would know they were meant to be, as they compliment each other in every aspect of their personalities. Chad is genuine, easy going, and absolutely adores his fiancée. And Laura is very witty, sweet, and loving and is a perfect match for Chad. I had a lot of fun doing their engagement photos, and I'm pretty sure they had a good time too, as they became more relaxed as the photo shoot went on. We did the shoot at Elkington Park in Balmain, a beautiful little area on Sydney Harbour.
